Large Planter - Drippy

Large Planter slipcast from coloured stoneware clay with transparent glaze.  Handmade by Orla in Clonakilty, Cork.

The “drippy” colourway is made with the recycled slip. This is made from the trimmings of the other coloured slips so depending on what I have been using most this colour can vary (this is the background colour on this piece). The drippy effect is made by painting/splashing the coloured clays into the mould before casting, this process is impossible to do exactly the same twice so each “drippy” piece is totally unique! What you receive will be slightly varied in colour and decoration from the photo but will be in the same style.
